Meet Thomas

Thomas Quattrini began his career keeping helicopters and other aircraft safe in the skies. More than a decade ago, he swapped aviation for the rapidly growing oil and gas market, landing at New Fortress Energy in 2023. He helped commission our floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility offshore of Altamira, Mexico, where he today ensures safety, efficiency, and reliability as Production Superintendent.

Thomas loves the powerful, positive energy of his team and its mission.

“I appreciate working with people from different cultures, and at FLNG1, our diverse team creates a dynamic and engaging workplace that makes every day interesting,” he says. “Seeing the results of our hard work come to life and knowing that our efforts contribute to a more sustainable future for other countries is something I take great pride in.”

In the air or on the ground, Thomas brings his hometown family values of community, integrity, and hard work to everything he does.

“I was raised in a small town in New York’s Finger Lakes region, where the simplicity of life offered invaluable lessons in resilience, collaboration, and perseverance — principles that continue to guide me both personally and professionally,” he notes.

Dependable, driven, and positive, he embraces opportunities to expand his horizons — so it’s no surprise that his bucket list includes visiting all 50 states at least once.

“I’m motivated by challenges that push me to grow,” he says, “and by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on projects that matter.”
