LNG flows from Miami liquefier to South Florida and the Caribbean

OUR OPERATIONS

We're powering the U.S. with positive energy

Did you know Miami, Florida, is the southernmost major city in the continental United States? That it’s named for the Native American Mayaimi people who originally lived there, and whose name meant “big water”? Or that it’s the site of the state’s first privately owned liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant – and the first to export LNG from the continental United States to a non-free trade agreement country? Constructed in just one year, our 100,000-gallon-per-day Miami liquefier plant was commissioned in 2015. It’s optimally located to supply LNG to transportation, commercial, and industrial users in South Florida and the Caribbean.
