Commitment beyond reliable energy
At New Fortress Energy, our commitment to the communities where we operate goes beyond delivering reliable energy. In Mexico, we have spent years building relationships and supporting initiatives that help strengthen and uplift local communities in meaningful ways.
Recently, we attended the Corazón de Niño Fundraising Dinner, an event dedicated to supporting a foundation that is making a profound difference in the lives of children and families across the country.
During the evening, our team had the opportunity to connect with the foundation’s founder, gaining deeper insight into the organization’s impact. Over the past 25 years, Corazón de Niño has played a critical role in funding life-changing medical treatments and procedures for children with congenital heart conditions, care that would otherwise be out of reach for many families.
To date, more than 320 children’s lives have been saved or significantly improved, and over 2,000 children have received medical care through the foundation’s efforts.
The evening itself was a meaningful reflection of that mission. Families and children supported by the foundation shared their stories, offering firsthand perspectives on the difference this work makes. The event also brought together doctors, medical professionals, and organizations from across the region, all united in support of the cause.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an inspiring initiative and are proud to play our part in giving back to the communities where we operate.
