We believe
in the power of positive energy
Our vision & Mission
We want to
light the world
We want to light the world. Billions of people around the planet lack access to affordable power. Electricity should not be a luxury good.
Our mission is to provide capital, expertise and vision to address this problem while also making positive and meaningful impacts on communities and the environment.

Creating a world where the air is clean and the energy is green
We believe everyone, everywhere should have affordable, clean energy. Today, we’re helping customers lower costs and reduce emissions by replacing oil-based fuels with natural gas. Tomorrow, we aim to be the world’s largest provider of carbon-free power. Every day, our goal is to create a world that’s powered by positive energy.
Our solutions
From seamlessly converting or building your gas-fired facilities, to reliably and efficiently providing you with clean, affordable natural gas, we can help you save time, money, stress, and even the environment – all by using liquefied natural gas.

Old Harbour Terminal
Commissioned in 2018, the offshore Old Harbour Terminal features an FSRU (Floating Storage & Regasification Unit) and natural gas pipeline. The facility supplies the 190 MW Old Harbour power plant and the ~150 MW Jamalco co-generation power plant, the Caribbean's first gas-fired combined cycle power plant.
-
Puerto Rico Facility
Commissioned in April 2020, our LNG facility in the Port of San Juan supplies natural gas to the San Juan Combined Cycle Power Plant. The facility features multiple truck loading bays and is uniquely positioned to supply on-island industrial, commercial and transportation customers with liquefied natural gas (LNG).
-
Montego Bay Terminal
Constructed in just 15 months and commissioned in 2016, our Montego Bay Terminal has enabled Jamaica to diversify its energy supply for the first time, marking an important step towards ending the country's reliance on oil. Featuring landed storage, truck loading facilities, a regasification plant, and natural gas pipelines, the terminal supplies the 145 MW Bogue power plant as well as industrial customers.
-
Jamalco Co-Generation Power Plant
Commissioned in Q1 2020, our gas-fired, co-generation power plant supplies steam to the neighboring Jamalco bauxite facility and power to the Jamaican grid, providing efficient, baseload power to the country. The plant is the first of its kind in the Caribbean.
-
Shannon LNG Project
We are developing an onshore LNG terminal in Shannon, Ireland that includes a deepwater jetty and storage tanks to supply power and industrial users.
-
Nicaragua Terminal
We are developing a natural gas-fired power plant near Puerto Sandino to supply power to Nicaragua’s electricity distribution companies. The natural gas will be supplied by an offshore LNG receiving, storage and regasification terminal we are also developing. The power plant and terminal will contribute to Nicaragua’s long-term economic development by providing the country firm generation capacity and reducing harmful emissions.
-
Mexico Terminal & Plant
We are developing an onshore LNG import terminal and merchant power plant at the Port of Pichilingue, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The project will provide power to an undersupplied grid, diversify Mexico’s energy supply, reduce harmful emissions, and lower electricity costs to end-users.
-
Pennsylvania Liquefier
We are developing liquefaction assets near the wellhead in the Marcellus to supply LNG.
-
Miami Liquefier
Constructed in just one year, our Miami liquefier was commissioned in 2015. The facility was the first privately owned LNG plant in Florida and the first to export LNG from the continental United States to a non-FTA country. The 100,000 gallon per day plant is optimally located to supply LNG to transportation, commercial and industrial users in South Florida and the Caribbean.
