The baskets were filled with food and other necessities including rice, beans, eggs, oatmeal, oil, sardines, pasta, soap, bleach, and toilet paper.
"Sharing is absolutely rewarding, filling our hearts with joy and inner peace,” said Juan Escalante, Terminal Manager. “Christmas is always the perfect time for showing how much we care for each other. As a member of the Nicaragua team, I am genuinely delighted in having shared quality time with our work peers, friends, and families, as well as people from the local community of Puerto Sandino, lifting up our spirits in these tough times!"
It’s an honor to help make the holidays – and the world – brighter for our neighbors in Nicaragua and all the communities we serve.
